I think it was @joycewhitevance.bsky.social who suggested an introduction. I’m a lawyer working in public policy, who volunteers at a dog rescue and spends Saturday mornings on Zoom helping Ukrainian kids practice English. I’m very opinionated (when I can back it up). I always deleted my Tweets.

The kids I practice English with on Saturdays live in Khmelnytskyi this term. They were bombed last night and their teacher shared this photo today. The photos are always heartbreaking but these blue and yellow parakeets huddling together … 🇺🇦
