I have a character that is literally just AOSTH robotnik in all aspects and he’s literally one of my favorite ocs I’ve made. Never feel guilty if you feel like you “stole” a design, if it’s unique enough that’s what matters!

There isn't an algorithm here (at least not in the way twt, IG, etc has)
Posts don't really go "viral" in the sense that an algo pushes it the more traction it gains; it's heavily dependent on individuals actively sharing and engaging.
