Proud of our latest work! We report an unusual example of Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution on benzene, where hydride acts as the leaving group and KHMDS is used as a base. A rare case of SNArH with a non-nucleophilic base! @chemicalscience.rsc.org

Ruthenium-Mediated Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution of Hydrogen in Benzene
The direct functionalization of unactivated hydrocarbons remains a significant challenge in modern chemistry. In this study, we demonstrate that a simple ruthenium complex featuring a chelating tBuPN ...

PREFORMED REDOX-ACTIVE INVERSE CROWNS: Finally out in @naturechemistry.bsky.social Highly selective reduction of N2O, epoxide, sulfur or O2. The ring can also be extended to a larger metalla-crown for stabilization of larger anions like N2O2(2-). Open access: shorturl.at/LZE6Y
