“This,” wrote Edward Elgar, “is the best of me.”
I’ve always wanted to sing this deeply felt masterpiece of life and death with orchestra, soloists and chorus singing the roles of friends, demons and angels.

My first solo album, Le vase brisé, is coming out at the end of the month, with friend and collaborator Lana Bode - this screenshot from our album booklet is the most important page. Without these people there would be no album. Thank you all!!

In preparation for filming La Traviata on location, we rehearsed for six weeks in London with the full cast.

Here are Roderick Williams, Smelo Mahlangu, Tom Elwin, Susana Gaspars, Katie Bray and Chuma Sijeqa all hard at work perfecting their performances.
