So, 6 months after I started my new post-headteacher life, I’ve secured a professional acting job - and it’s in Manchester where I first began. LOVE by Bren Gosling on at The Edge Theatre in May.

Me: halloumi fries
Dad: ?

It is useful to remind ourselves what Labour has achieved. Perhaps they also need a new PR department to ensure the public are made more aware. A good article from East Anglia Bylines.

Son and his American partner are staying with us at the moment so we’re doing Thanksgiving 🇺🇸. Amir has instructed me in the art of candied yams etc but he’s making the pumpkin pie himself. (I have a month to learn how to do Chrismukkah)

Two really rewarding days delivering the ITAP for trainees from St Joseph’s College SCITT in Stoke-on-Trent. What a fabulous group or motivated, talented and inspiring trainees. The profession is in safe hands if this is the quality of upcoming ECTs.

Well, a day of ups and downs. I was pleased to be doing my first ever paid acting stint. On the way home - and for the only time ever in 26 years of driving - an fecking pigeon flew straight into the front of my car and it’s cracked the grille. I’m so peeved. (Worse for the pigeon I know)
