I’m struggling enough to hold onto my faith as a follower of Jesus because of what the “Christians” keep spewing in opposition to the Bishop’s sermon. How do they think non-believers are going to suddenly “come to faith” hearing those things?

We must stop coming to the defense of the powerful and rich and instead bend our knees for the marginalized and the poor.

If someone is scared, no one can tell them that they have no right to be scared. If someone is anxious, it does nothing to tell them “hey, just don’t be anxious.” How can we offer comfort and compassion instead? How can we bring an environment of peace and safety?

Deconstruction is not the same as demolition like some are lead to believe. To deconstruct is to carefully take apart something piece by piece in order to examine it. To demolish is to completely destroy something with no intention of salvaging any part of the structure. 1/3
