One of the most important things that Democrats in Republican states can do is to show up and speak at town halls. Back when Republicans were trying to repeal the ACA last time, I forced my Rep to admit that he was going to make my health care (and others there) unaffordable. Did not go down well.

I live in the reddest of red dots in Texas, and founded an Indivisible group for surrounding communities here, but we never gained the momentum we hoped for.
