Car died. Stick shift. Parked on a steep hill perpendicular to heavily trafficked industrial highway.
Tow truck driver wanted me to back up, swing around. Lost control. Panicked and bailed. Narrowly avoided getting pinned to truck bed by my rolling car.
Maybe I’m dead. This sure seems like hell?

I mail-ordered a 3-pack of Diamond Crystal salt (as one does) because you can’t get that off the shelf at the local supermarket
It came in a USPS box and instead of using bubble wrap or foam nuggets, they’ve stuffed the whole container with USPS priority mailers

One ongoing problem I have is:
* Can’t sleep because dog is aggressively snuggly and pushing me out of my own bed
* Can’t get out of bed because dog is aggressively snuggly and too cute to disturb

Just got word back: our group of 50 volunteers picked up 741 pounds of trash in 2 hours along a 1.4 mile stretch
Now I'm wondering:
1) How can we improve livelihoods so people don't check out and trash their own neighborhood?
2) More convenient receptacles serviced more often?

Just got word back: our group of 50 volunteers picked up 741 pounds of trash in 2 hours along a 1.4 mile stretch
Now I'm wondering:
1) How can we improve livelihoods so people don't check out and trash their own neighborhood?
2) More convenient receptacles serviced more often?

Not proud of this but years ago, like a full decade ago, I got wasted at a company retreat and chewed out a software engineering intern
I left the company and we went in separate directions but every few years he switches jobs to somewhere I’m a customer and sends me a check-in email
