Some start with donuts, others start with default cubes... I start with a swirly halftone thing. Blender at this point is pure chaos to me.

Game plan: learn Blender. I might be in for a bit of a bumpy road, but I have a couple tutorials and plenty of tea. Going from industrial-oriented design into something artistic is absolutely daunting, though.
