Respecting your partner is a critical part of a relationship. Honoring their boundaries and obeying any rules they may have is also important. Violating the trust of a partner is the biggest failure a person can do. Cus once it's broken it's so much easier to break over and over.

It does not help anyone to hide behind your trauma. I have gotten hurt more times than I can count from people who use their trauma to excuse poor behavior
