Hi! I’m meirha, designer and illustrator from Germany.
When it comes to art I always say I’m more of a technician. I love to figure out new tools and styles constantly. Mostly working in watercolor, csp/procreate and I like to do 2d animation in blender 🤭

Almost had to get another little surgery .. still worrying I was not taken seriously and will have to go into emergency at some point 😬

Let’s just hope if so it will be after Frankfurt book fair so I didn’t stress for nothing the next couple of weeks 🫠

Usually the processing for my retro style is done with macros in Affinity Photo.

I recently learned of a way to achieve something similar in CSP, allowing me a more loose style and use of my watercolor brushes!

Things like this excite me immensely 🤭

I have this hilarious story I want to turn into a comic … I also have a talent for including way too much information that might not be necessary and the urge to include it anyway cause that’s what makes it even more funny to me .. I worry the comic will be like explaining a joke 🥲

Why is it so hard to start/focus on own projects, even if those are to further my career, like working on my portfolio ...

As soon as I have a commission I drop everything and focus on that no problem ..

But I should be doing own projects to get better jobs as well ..
