Hey @southwestairlines.bsky.social - how come nobody at BWI knows why the flight to BOS was delayed for (at least) an hour?
Also, you discontinued allowing people to download a calendar invite for their flight. Delta still gives you a free invite!

@americanexpress-th.bsky.social Just curious, Amex, what the purpose of the Platinum card is when there is a 40 minute wait to get in your Centurion Club, and when you get in, basically no food unless you have the Black card? In hindsight, a waste of $600 and decades of loyal Amex membership.

@americanexpress.bsky.social Hi! I wanted to let you folks know that the one time this year I will use a Centurion Club was today, and your club at DEN is overcrowded, filthy, and the front desk folks are clearly exhausted from all the furious Amex cardholders because they are crabby as hell too.

I reread this book every two years. Always relevant and thought provoking.
1. I'm NOT the sort of SF/F nerd who thinks everyone needs to read a "canon" of older works in genre like they're homework before they get to call themselves a fan, nevertheless the book I'm always mildly surprised when people say they haven't read it is "Snow Crash," which to me is era-defining...

Let’s be gentle with ALL federal employees right now. They work hard and have dedicated their careers to helping the American people, and they are going through a really rough process right now.
THAT SAID: Be gentle with any federal workers you know who have to call it "Gulf of America" in their official communications, they really have no choice in the matter and they almost certainly know how ridiculous it is. It's not their fault their boss is a thundering chudwomble.
