This morning I had pancakes with maple syrup my brother and I made from the sugar maples at my mom’s in Blairstown. That tradition is getting harder as warming temps disrupt the sap season. As a PhD scientist running in NJ-07, I’ll treat climate change with data, not denial.

My youngest daughter graduated from college yesterday—a proud mom moment that also reminded me how crushing it was to have three kids in school at once. I’m running for Congress in NJ-07 because no child’s potential should depend on their family’s wealth or zip code.

The House just voted to restore collective bargaining rights for federal employees. As a former federal scientist & AFGE shop steward and pro-labor candidate in NJ-07, I’m urging you: contact your senators and tell them to support Senate Bill 2837. Unions protect workers and our middle class.

Nearly 50,000 people in NJ-07—including my own family—are facing ACA premiums projected to jump from under $500 to about $1,600 a month for a bronze plan with a $12,000 deductible. In the richest economy on earth, that’s unacceptable, and in Congress I’ll fight for truly affordable health care.

My friend from Blairstown captured some beautiful pictures of me line dancing. He’s a union guy like me and an electrician with IBEW 102. He's got a house, put his kids through college, and has enough time and money for hobbies he loves like photography. Unions make America Great.

When we confuse fiction with fact, people get hurt—and a broken scientific pipeline can take years to repair. In NJ-07, flipping this seat means defending democracy and the Constitution and building a country where no one goes hungry in the richest nation on Earth.

In TN-7 yesterday, Aftyn Behn took a district Trump won by 22 points and narrowed the gap to under 9. That’s real movement in hard terrain. Even without flipping the seat, her fight to change hearts and minds inspired me—and I hope to see her back on the campaign trail soon.

Just finished phonebanking with 150+ volunteers for @AftynBehn in TN-7—we made about 7,000 GOTV calls after a kickoff from Nancy Pelosi. This race is close, and every call counts. Join us in helping Aftyn across the finish line on Tuesday.

The Constitution defines the Separation of Powers as central to our Democracy. The President wants all the power over the purse and the military.
Congress approved $4.9 billion in spending for foreign aid. The Trump White House canceled all of it.
Whether he likes it or not, the Congress that you elect decides on spending. These "pocket rescissions” can start with foreign aid, but your education, your roads, your healthcare could be next.

I may be from Jersey, but the term “bless your heart” came to mind when I saw this from the NRCC.
Looks like I scare them not only because I “believe” in climate change, but because I’m a climate change scientist and know all about it.

Just yesterday, Tom Kean Jr. doubled down on his vote to slash Medicaid, food assistance programs and raise health care costs for thousands of NJ families.
My family worked hard but still relied on these programs to make ends meet. That's why I'm running for Congress.
