NYT bestselling author, Daily Wire culture reporter. Joel Berry told me this was a magical place where I could live my truth as MegAN not Meg. Feels so good to finally be myself.
In what way are they “not buying”?

Enjoyed opportunity this weekend to speak to group of conservative leaders in DC about Shepherds for Sale. Especially encouraging to share a panel w/ Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins, Washington Time’s Cheryl Chumley, American Association of Evangelical’s Kelly Kullberg, & TPUSA’s Lucas Miles.

Today in court, Laken Riley’s father read one of the last entries in her journal from December 2023. It was letter she wrote, on the advice of her church small group leader, to her future husband.

This was what it said:

Untethered empathy makes no distinction between a person who’s hurt because she’s been treated unjustly and a person who’s hurt because her attempts to treat others unjustly have been rebuffed 1/2

My daughter is teaching herself Battle Hymn of the Republic on the piano right now. I’m not sure why, but I like where her head is at.

God, it seems, has given us a reprieve. The lgbtq ideology no longer packs the power it once packed. Even career politicians can say that biology determines gender without fear. But if we don’t the rush breach and cleanse the house, the demons will return with 7 of their friends

Sad for the Bee that they can’t understand that this place is a haven for kindness not truth 😢

If Bluesky had a trending topics list, Twitter would always be at the top.
November 20, 2024 at 3:16 AM
So far I see 4 main themes on Bluesky:

1) reassuring one another that this is so much better than Twitter.

2) Trump hate

3) boasting about blocking ppl who disagree w/ you (but it’s not an echo chamber!!!)

4) space pictures and anime drawings of girls with giant boobs.

I think that covers it.

Saying w/ much gentility and love—the amount of time people spend over here assuring one another it’s so much better than Twitter feels a bit like two single women assuring one another how much better off they are without the exes they’re still in love with…

Neutrality, or the famed “separation of church and state,” is a myth.

The modern, “secular” moral worldview is, in fact, very religious.

The morality within Christianity has been a part of the American tradition since its inception.

There will always be religion.

The question is, which one?

Flexing on who you’ve blocked is just as pathetic here as it was on Twitter, just sayin! 😂

It makes me really sad that guys like Berry and Jamie Bambrick are bringing their dark energy into a place of kindness like BlueSky. You would think the fact that they are forcing gentle souls to respond to them this way would make them think about where they’ve gone wrong…

Sad to discover that others aren’t experiencing the same warm welcome of reasoned discourse I am. I’m sure it’s his own fault though.
Is this the "civility" that I was promised at @bsky.app ?

Morning BlueSky, just enjoying a quiet morning doing my Bible reading! 🙏

The toxicity at Twitter had become so oppressive, it’s so wonderful to see what’s happening here and realize what could’ve been if it weren’t for Elon Musk. ❤️🥰❤️

So grateful my husband gave me permission to get a BlueSky account. I am just basking in how much kinder and more reasonable the discourse is here 🥰🥰

Alright BlueSky, let’s test the gears here with some basic truth and see if anything happens.

Trans women are men. A man cannot become a woman. Therefore Rachel Levine is a man.

Wait this site has existed since 2017?! Wut??
November 19, 2024 at 3:28 AM
Now that I have discovered the ecosystem of people who’ve been rage posting about me for months over here at this place I didn’t know existed until five seconds ago, my husband wants to know if it can be his safe space to vent about me without incurring a response too… 😂
November 19, 2024 at 2:30 AM
Maybe I should start out by following everyone who follows me, because then I will remember that those are the bad people to avoid.
November 19, 2024 at 2:22 AM
I am so relieved to see that the politically toxic atmosphere has not developed over here at blue sky!
November 19, 2024 at 2:13 AM
I just want to see if it’s true that there’s a place on social media where we can live free from the tyranny and oppression of disagreement.
