“Every phrase and every sentence is an end and a beginning, / every poem an epitaph.” - T.S. Eliot
Had gorgeous views on my run this afternoon, and I kept thinking of Frost: “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.” (Not that these woods were particularly dark, mind.)

Standing two rows back from the stage for Jonah Kagen and Judah & the Lion at a small club last night reminded me that this is how live music is meant to be experienced. I’ve gone to too many stadium shows lately, shows where I can’t even see the artist except on a screen. Give me more of this.
