Book 2 of The Bloodsworn accomplished! Just as good as the first. Definitely pick up if you love old school mayhem, gods and demi-gods, and some creepy crawlies too. 💙📚

In 2025, I lost almost 30 pounds, moved to a new state, bought a house, made some great friends, read a lot of books, and spent more time with my family. I’m taking my wins. Looking forward to midterm elections, new book clubs, and resistance. Let’s kick 2026 in the teeth.

Finished Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Second book of the Lunar Chronicles series. I loved this retelling of red riding hood. This series has been very fun so far. Definitely pick it up if you like fairytales turned into space epochs.

Thrift stores are amazing. I was just looking online for a new pair of x-country ski boots and found these when I stopped at a store supporting the American Cancer Society. Wins all around.

My mom makes catnip toys and gives them to the local shelter and everyone she knows that has cats. Nova and Beckett adore them. They also had a weird fascination with the tree skirt, which is now is a wad below the tree.

Got some discount oldies but goodies at the record store. I’ve never listened to this one but it was $2 so I couldn’t pass it up. It’s very 1960s. #vinyl

First thing I did in 2026? Finished season 5 of Stranger Things at 12:30am. Mostly because I binged the whole season yesterday and didn’t manage my time properly. Happy New Year!

Just finished Wake Up Dead Man. Not only was it very well done but the song at the end? Amazing. This might be my favorite Knives Out yet. #movies
