Our game night campaign of "Charterstone" grinds ever onward. Late to the table on this one, but we're all enjoying it. #boardgames

5-player game of "Twilight Imperium: 4th Edition" with the expansion. Taking advantage of the long holiday weekend in the US, we knocked this out in about 7 hours with a lunch break. I managed the 10 point victory with the L1Z1X in yellow. Always an interesting game.#boardgames

Last week's #boardgame night consisted of "Tyrants of the Underdark" from Gale Force Nine. I really need to find another game that combines deck building with an area control mechanic this well.

When playing #boardgames it is sometimes necessary to dive into the deep end and play a 5-hour long Euro 4X strategy game like "Eclipse"

I know its a ROM hack and a repro #NES cart but this copy of "Sweet Home" was lovingly assembled and is a seasonal play for me since I got it a few years ago.

Have been reading this and the 1987 volume of NES Works by @jparish.bsky.social and it is a solid and well done chronicle of gaming history published by @pressrun.bsky.social. It brings back a lot of memories of those NES days and makes me glad we're preserving this history before it is lost.

Another game of "Western Legends" in the game room this week. This time we added most content from the small expansions & "Ante Up". It gave this game an immersive experience as everyone was able to explore different strategies: gambling, mining, rustling cattle... #boardgames

"Conquest of Nerath" an oldie but goody 4 player dungeons and dragons war game. My alliance was victorious.

"Star Trek: Ascendancy" made its way to rhe #boardgame table this long holiday weekend with the Klingons coming out victorious over their Breen and Cardassian rivals.

Got Thunder Road Vendetta to the table again tonight. Victory through attrition.
