(also - there’s a lot of options for the listing. let me know if you’d like me to explain any of them)

-on where you’re located. the only issue is it’s a barebones kit, so you’ll need switches and keycaps of your own. that being said, this allows you to tailor your typing experience to your preference!

in that case, i would recommend the QK101 by Qwertykeys. it’s got a hotswap PCB option (no soldering), has rolling fulfillment (more readily available than other brands), and has a great build quality, compared to other boards in that price range. there’s also a lot of regional vendors depending-

a few questions:
1) price range?
2) preferred layout? (full size, 1800, TKL, 75%, 65%, 60%)?
3) any specific features like Bluetooth, RGB, etc?
4) do you need it ASAP or can you wait a bit?
5) are you comfortable with soldering at all?

those stabilizers are pesky as hell aren’t they?

(also these are still shrinkwrapped, they’re textured and not glossy)

my SP DCS Flex Kits came in! these keycaps look gorgeous, i’m so excited to use these in a build. i loooove DCS.

that’d work too! sometimes when i build my boards i like throwing linears on the modifier keys bc they sound a bit better, but this isn’t that situation LOL

SA/spherical profile keycaps with legends in the corners looks very good in my opinion. It reminds me of Realforce HiPro. I should work on the HiPro replica I wanted to run in MT3.

you could replace the esc key with that mx red and put the mx brown from esc onto the Q key, i’ve done that before

Regarding the stabilizers: I have been enjoying the Swagkeys Knight stabilizers recently, they require a lot less tuning compared to TX AP.

it’s kinda nuts especially for how cheap it is. i can’t decide on which color i want…
February 4, 2026 at 7:55 PM
prebuilt? Evoworks Evo75 might be a good option.

if you’re looking for a barebones option where you get your own switches and keycaps, but is even nicer build quality and better materials, the Neo75 Cu is a really good option, but it has no per-key-RGB/backlighting.
February 3, 2026 at 4:59 PM
which keys are they?
February 3, 2026 at 3:44 AM
right? it’s lowkey insane
February 2, 2026 at 6:32 PM
ikr? i’m just trying to decide between grey (industrial) or beige (the classic)
February 2, 2026 at 5:47 PM
to be fair, with the non pre-assembled version you can choose any MX-compatible switch, but also if you don’t need another board, that’s valid
February 2, 2026 at 5:24 PM
this is lowkey a stupid good deal for a keyboard that
1) looks like a Model M SSK
2) can come fully assembled (just that it only comes in 6.25u bottom row in that format)
3) has a solenoid
