yeah, those small high quality plugs are usually only available in bulk and really expensive

nothing beats that formfaktor with those criteria.

i think bullet connectors are your best bet; which are still unreasonably bulky for a 1W fan

typical for medion. but i'm fairly certain not much value was lost. it's most likely one of those "use schematic html and slap as many aria tags and roles on your elements as possible to make it accessible"

i missed the part where it's supposed to get spicy. that's just good advice and deeply concerning that it still isn't part of common media competency.

nothing that actually works. chrome is closest to working and it's still terrible. `scroll-snap-type: x mandatory; scroll-snap-stop: always;` should be the solution, but mandatory apparently means that with a simple flick on a touchscreen, you can still skip several stops.

So I think the thought process is less about running a sustainable business than to avoid disturbing that magical flow of pocket money you came to rely on

Aka."If it works, don't touch it"

It's a partial lack of understanding. There are no data points to analyze if you don't even know why it works
March 18, 2025 at 12:44 PM
Agree, but those are different groups of people. If you look at it from the perspective of truly running a business it should be obvious why it's a lost cause. Most of those artists I referred to are just regular people who figured out they can earn an extra 200€ here and there. ->

I can also understand people becoming numb from following the crowd for the latest and greatest hype that won't last anywas. A lot of people also don't consider bsky a worthy successor or continuation.

For the people who consider the platform their business and refuse to leave out of fear of losing their customers when migrating. (ie. artists using it for advertising and contact)

So they stay out of fear of losing their business and I remain as a lurker because they refuse to migrate elsewhere.

and why exactly does this require ai?

the purpose of lighthouse is to do exactly what the ai is supposed to do. (summarize any anomalies which might impact page performance and present them in an easily digestible format)
+there is no point in sending out status reports if everything is fine anyway

It's 2025 and we still haven't figured out datepickers.

Few people recognized some of the common issues but noone came up with a good solution that fixes all of the issues.

(doesn't mean there should be a single solution)

this way nintendo can't detect it and their games don't get flooded with kiddies using cheats they found in a forum to ruin online games for everyone

with emunand being a completely separate storage for the switch you can do whatever you want inside of it, installing homebrew, modding games, customizing your system and so on without affecting your official system
January 19, 2025 at 10:34 PM
it's insane what you *could* do if people cared enough to document and share knowledge rather than keeping it to themselves for monetary gain or popularity in some forums.

as for the ban-proof modding; that's been a thing for years now via emunand. it's perfect the way it is.
January 19, 2025 at 10:34 PM
modding your hardware (which you do own, assuming you legally bought it) is perfectly legal depending on jurisdiction. provided you don't break any laws like bypassing copyright protection, violating copyright, distributing unlicensed software and so on, you can do whatever you want with your device

like what? the only use cases for nfc enabled google apps are nfc file transfers, and wallet
January 16, 2025 at 1:42 PM
true that, but kind of defeats (some) of it's purpose

New from 404 Media: Bluesky may have said it won't use user data to train generative AI, but someone else just published a dataset of million Bluesky posts for "machine learning research". Already very popular dataset, your data may be scraped www.404media.co/someone-made...
