Israel kills 3 more journalists in Gaza airstrike, including an employee of CBS News. This comes despite claims of a "ceasefire".

We continue to see very little coverage of these war crimes from Western media. This silence is a betrayal of their colleagues.

Canadian journalist Amber Bracken was "handcuffed, held in a cell for 3 nights and had her camera gear and photographs seized -- all for doing her job."

We believe Amber’s arrest was a clear violation of her Charter rights — and The Narwhal’s. Our case aims to establish meaningful consequences for police when they interfere with the constitutional rights of journalists. thenarwhal.ca/press-freedom/
