Made a diorama base for Gundam Sandrock
Detailed steps:
1. Glued and shaped the foam to create desert mountains, and used epoxy putty for the sand dunes.
2. Covered the surface with PVA glue and baking soda which simulates a fine, scale accurate sand texture.
3. Primed the whole thing.
4. Paint!

Hope you don’t mind me sharing some of my older builds! This one’s my Zaku II. My first attempt at weathering using oils. I was pretty nerve wracking doing this since Bandai plastic can be fragile and prone to cracking with oil thinners, but I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end.
