🚨 Our latest research on the Portfolio Diet was featured by
@medscape.com

In this study, published in BMC Med, we examined the diet’s association with CVD mortality

This is 1 of many steps to take RCT evidence beyond LDL-C to real outcomes.

From🩸biomarkers to 🫀disease impact!
New Canadian studies suggest that the portfolio diet can reduce the risk for cardiovascular disease and mortality among diverse patient populations. Previous studies had examined only older White participants. @meaghankavanagh.bsky.social www.medscape.com/viewarticle/...
2 New Studies Show CVD Benefit of Portfolio Diet
The plant-based, cholesterol-lowering diet is associated with a reduced risk for cardiovascular disease and mortality across diverse groups.

Do not fear statins, their CVD benefit outweigh any excess risk of T2D. Still worried? Consider adjunct therapies 🍎 with your low-dose statin.
