It should be illegal for clothing stores to label an item as being "satin" or "velvet" when the product is in fact made up of polyester etc.

It's never easy to be caught in the middle like that. I've lost count of how many times I've had to act as mediator in my family.
That shit is difficult, extremely stressful and tiring... try to put yourself first, especially if you're already under a lot of external pressure.
