They have several plugins for OTP and 2FA. There is also an open source Android version, but I've never used it, so I can't say how well it works. Not sure on iOS

I'm using KeePass. I don't trust any SaaS platform. I have it saved to OneDrive with an account that I don't use for email. I set the database to require a key file and master password. I only keep the key file saved locally.

No, I had not accounted for that scenario. It will still pick up the fact that the cmdlet is being called and would flag it as not being set, so you could manually confirm.

It has been, but you'd be surprised how many scripts don't. It gets especially messy if someone wrote a script in 7 and someone else tries to run it in 5.1. Because the -UseBasicParsing is just decoration in 7, so the author had to think about backward compatibility when writing it.
