So happy to share the outcome of an incredible team effort! In this paper we present an Atlas describing how SUMO-PTM components coordinate stress responses in Arabidopsis root cells. Huge congratulations to everyone involved! Amazing work all around! www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
Elucidating tissue and subcellular specificity of the entire SUMO network reveals how stress responses are fine-tuned in a eukaryote
A spatial map of an entire protein modification system reveals tissue and subcellular diversification of SUMO components.

We have submitted a pre-print to BioRxiv. It is describes SUMO post-translational modification in action in Arabidopsis roots. All components, their expression, protein abundance, behaviour under stress...! super proud of the team work. Send us comments! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Elucidating tissue and sub-cellular specificity of the entire SUMO network reveals how stress responses are fine-tuned in a eukaryote
SUMOylation is essential in plant and animal cells, but it remains unknown how SUMO components act in concert to modify specific targets in response to environmental stresses. In this study we charact...

The Arabidopsis blue-light photoreceptor CRY2 is active in darkness to inhibit root growth
CRY2 interacts with the cell-division-promoting factors FL1 and FL3 to inhibit primary-root elongation in darkness, while blue light relieves this inhibition.
