Most of the power authoritarians have is freely given. We should not comply with them in advance.

Trump is far weaker than he looks. So is the GOP. We should draw them out, drain them at every opportunity, and fight for people’s wellbeing at every turn.

We have been sent here to fight for people.

On Monday, Del. Kaufman presented HB 1094 before the House Ways & Means Committee. This bill gives Montgomery County the ability to use ranked choice voting or approval voting for local county elections.

The Washington Post pulled an ad that was set to run in some editions on Tuesday calling for Elon Musk to be fired from his role in government, a group that ordered the ad said. It would have covered the front and back pages of editions delivered to the White House, the Pentagon and Congress.
