Gentle reminder that neurodivergent people have always been here. The only thing that’s changed is we’re more aware of neurotypes now than we were one or two generations ago.

And now I take a break from fiber arts for a few months

Spending downtime at work calling my state and federal representatives regarding **waves emphatically** everything. And I’m still on task for my profession since advocacy is in the ethical code for therapists.

Prepping for whatever the hell is happening by organizing a neighborhood knitting group. If we’re gonna talk about building community, let’s actually start doing that by getting to know our neighbors.

I really wish therapists could get hazard pay for the next 4 years.

Oh, right. The week’s progress on the pocket for a cardigan. Pocket complete! Working my way up to the start of the arm hole.

***existential dread increases***

Sunday morning knitting while I build up the willpower to shovel the walkways. There’s something sort of funny to me that I’m currently knitting a part of this sweater that is vitally important (pocket lining) but no one will ever see it.

“No, we don’t need to test. It’s just a cold. But well, since we have these Covid tests anyway we may as well use them…”

And that’s how we found out that we are, once again, a plague house. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I guess we’re giving this a try
