He Who Must Not Be Named: In Deathly Hallows, a "taboo" spell was placed upon Voldemort's name, so his followers could trace anyone who uttered it. In this age of data scraping, I now completely understand why wizards used the alternative to avoid vindictive repercussions. Can't risk ruination.

Thanks, #Samsung, for updating your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and giving me a link to 50 screen pages of micro-print legalese to read to see if I "agree." All without a single paragraph or page to say what part of them were changed with what updates. So convenient. So demure.

I was watching the Superbowl mostly for interesting ads. But so far it's been Tom Cruise, YouTube, FoxNews, Starlink, Meta, and Fox again. A roster of sycophants. This is gross. Remote is getting a workout.

⚡️ The historic moment of Estonia leaving the Russian-fed power grid.

On February 8, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia left Russia and Belarus energy system. By the end of the day today, they will have joined the European grid.

Ewww, nobody told me I'd have to watch and listen to Tom Cruise for several minutes before getting to see the Superbowl. Make it stop.
Nvmd, I'll just change the channel.

I registered voters in TX. I phone banked. I put up yard signs. I posted to social media and replied to nonsense with facts.

My income is my civil service pension. Its continuation is at the mercy of vindictive disruptors who need little reason to rescind it, legal or not. So now I'm silenced.

I think it already is.

But seriously. Don’t call them names. We want the door open for them when they realize the mistake they made.

We are for a better America. Not a vindictive America
Hey Mark do you think voters remorse will ever hit the magat crowd

Four-wheeling in Houston snow. My favorite moment was when they brought a bigger one and started tying the sled to it instead, but forgot about the little one and it started puttering down the road by itself. I just barely caught them catching up to it.

Thank goodness I have Rebecca Yarros' Onyx Storm to look forward to on Tuesday.

I'll need to find something similar to lose myself in every week for the next four years.

Completed my recertification training today to continue as a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar in Harris County, TX. And Galveston County. Good to go for another two years. Just trudging dejectedly forward against a high tide...what else can I do? It's still important.

If you haven't been watching NFL games much this season, this #Texans #Chargers game has been a fun one to come back to. This game has ALL the improbable plays and plot twists.

I see Anita Bryant died last month.
Also, I've got ham and bean soup in the Crockpot for dinner tonight.

How awesome would it be if Biden resigned the presidency now, allowing Harris to briefly be the 47th president and first woman to hold the office? And completely derailing all the merch sales and sloganeering being planned for the next four years.

After the #Carter funeral, of course.

Four years ago today, I was riding the highest of highs after getting my first COVID vax at 7:30 am. By noon, I was plunged into the lowest of lows watching chaos unfold at the Capitol and dreading the future of our country.

Happy to still be alive, but the dread is so much worse.

I've watched roughly 3 college football games this seasons, but maybe should have watched more. This #PeachBowl is bonkers! What a ride.
