Early morning frozen trail hike. Within the first mile we came around a bend and stirred up 2 beautiful coyotes relaxing 100m from us. They did what coyotes do and trotted up and over the ridge.

The City of McCall posted legal notices in the local paper back in October advising residents of elevated levels of lead (& other contaminants) in the drinking water.

An old timer (50+ years in Cascade) commented they also have high lead levels in their well but gave up filtering & just drink it 🤷

10.3 million cases of measles occurred worldwide last year, up 20% from 2022, primarily because of inadequate immunization coverage.
The disease resulted in 107,500 deaths last year, mostly killing children under 5!!!!
There are no upsides to shunning vaccines.
