Certainly don’t care how the #Cubs win, preferring how they powered their way to it tonight. But would really love the same type of beating from a string of singles, steals and doubles. A low SLG death by a thousand cuts would be so demoralizing to the opposition.

Three great games by Swanson at the plate. Could be Pittsburgh. Could be he’s on a hot streak. Could be finding a comfort level in the lower half of the order. A great bat to stash there. #Cubs

No alarm bells in these two losses. But some things to note: #Cubs have to find a real 3B or invent one. Swanson needs to move down to 7/8 in the order for the time being. Hope need for 1-2 solid SP doesn’t become apparent soon. Bullpen still not settled when choices are limited

Because there’s not great production from Swanson in the fifth spot. Kelly is better protection for him for now and Nico would

Pretty sure all the fans who are in the cheer section for at the #NFLDraft2025 are sent by the teams as “super fans.” Also pretty sure they have no idea who the players are which are being selected.
