I finally caved and got Cyberpunk 2077 to give it a go. It's killing me that they put one of my favourite character creation models in a first person game where the mirrors don't work 90% of the time.

Put Animal Crossing on my 3DS again, damn that has a satisfying gameplay loop. Really weird to go back from the amount of customisation in New Horizons, though.

I'm going to track my reading for the rest of the year here: First up, Rouge by Mona Awad, a gothic horror that takes aim at the beauty industry that took my breath away. I really loved it, Awad really knows how to put sentences together to suck me into a story. Highly recommend

For all its complexity, Tears of the Kingdom is just so impressive in its intuitiveness. I just picked it up after leaving it for well over a month and fell straight back into it, exploring all of Eventide Island.
