Corpse flowers bloom every 7-10 years for 24-36 hours. In Massachusetts, they are blooming now, as the new moon crests. Last documented bloom cycle was 2016, it looks like:

Readers, the new Vera Wong book by Jesse Q. Sutanto & narrated on audiobook by Eunice Wong is so good-- and funny. It's my 100th book this year and will definitely be on my Best Books of the Year list. Sutanto and Wong are a gifted pair.

We are disappointed for Texas teens that Tx House just passed HB3225. This would restrict Tx teenagers from using adult books in the library, including classic novels. Pregnant teens can't access books on childbirth. 250 years of libraries in this country without age restrictions until now. Scary.
