The Playmates Megazord looks so much better with these new canon parts. They match perfectly, and one of the biggest issues with this figure. I really like that they still function as missiles too.

Why can't the AppleTV passthrough TrueHD and DTS-HD audio? It's near perfect if not for that.
Not sure if I should stick with the Shield on my main TV or use the AppleTV.

More experimenting with digitizing VHS tapes.
Image 1 is my new method.
2 is with the Retrotink5X.
3 is a direct DVD rip.
The deinterlacing in the new method really does look quite good.

Metroid Prime 4 has issues, but I still really enjoy it.
Not quite done yet, but I'm far enough in to experience what folks complain about. They're valid problems, but I still think it's on par with Prime 3 at worst.
I do hope they patch out some of the green energy stuff though. That sucks.

Playing around with VHS digitizing again.
Left is my new transfer, right is the old.
New retains more analog noise, but also keeps a lot more detail.
The new also has much higher quality audio.
The real test will be my Nickelodeon tapes, as I digitized them using my Retrotink 5X.

As far as I know, here is every physical console port of Doom that exists. These are all playable off their disc or cart without an internet connection.
It's shockingly hard to find info on all of these, so I've tried to keep up the list myself.

Apparently hard drives are now being sucked up by AI data centers. I thought they'd be safe due to the slower speed, but I guess not.

My weird obsession with digitizing VHS tapes continues. Got a AV to DV converter, and dug up an old PC with a Firewire port. Should let me direct capture 480i video, and then I can use QTGMC deinterlacing.
Why do I even do this? The Retrotink did a good job, and I don't even have that many tapes.

I never thought I'd own a G1 Black Zarak. Sure it's a KO, but I wouldn't touch the original with a 10 foot pole. This one is really high quality, and doesn't come with the risk of destroying itself if you look at it funny.

The Xbox One X and Series X seem to be really picky about disc condition. I've had more issues with those consoles and slightly dirty discs than any other consoles.
I pretty much have to clean every used disc I get, or else they won't fully install.
