I love factorio and rimworld. Ive never mad it off either planet though.

I've been going about it all wrong

I know this seems like engagement farming, I'm compiling lists of what I like and don't like with game mechanics, and I want to see what I haven't thought of. but as an aspiring indie dev, what are some game mechanics you love and hate, and if you hate it, what's a fix to make it good?
