Very noticeable that amongst the exits among the cast cull were three (possibly four) LGBT characters- one of which didn't even get an on screen exit. Plus both bisexual female characters are in relationships with men (neither of which are likely to last)
But here's the thing -- UK soaps are still more queer-positive. But every one of #Hollyoaks #Emmerdale #Eastenders #Corrie lost queer characters in 2024, and didn't replace. And mostly the ones that remain aren't in frontburner stories. I sniff backlash somewhere.

So, tonight's Corrie. Can't help but feel like it was a bit of an anti climax that it turned out to be the person with the most obvious motive
