I was proud to nominate them to receive more than £6,000 of Omaze funding recently. It was great to see how that money is supporting women on the Wirral.

I had a special visit to Elderholme Care Home where I met with staff and residents.
The work the staff do is amazing. The support they provide for people during difficult times is inspiring.

I recently met with Merseyside’s Chief Fire Officer to visit their world class training facility. I was delighted to find out that here on Merseyside we have the best rescue service in the world!

This will mean people get appointments more quickly – helping to secure a faster diagnosis and getting them the treatment they need.
