Meditation is a doorway to an “I” that is not my “me.” In meditation we open to the possibility of an “I” that is simply presence. So much suffering comes from our "me" (its stories, resentments, beliefs about “how things should be”) while the I waits as a doorway into humility, gratitude, and love.
