NSF

- Forced reorg

- POs down ~ 40% (DRP, most rotators not renewed, retirements)

- Forced move (and we have to pack and clean) to a building with no furniture, little to no conference space for panels, inadequate 🛜, …)

I personally love the boxes they gave us for packing.
“Details matter” 🙃

SeaWorld: Woman knocked out by snowy egret on Mako coaster, not duck
Sea World is now asking a judge to throw Martin’s lawsuit out, saying the park has no legal responsibility for the Egret’s actions since it had no control over the bird.

Loggerhead shrike, Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, SC
That's the same perch as yesterday's mockingbird, and I really should have posted them in reverse order: twice, the mockingbird, previously nowhere to be seen, appeared out of nowhere to displace the shrike.

Seaside sparrows, Magothy Bay State Natural Area Preserve on the eastern shore of Virginia. These were along a narrow spit of land out into the marsh, accessible by a half-mile walk through some of the most mosquito-infested woods I've run into since Baxter SP in Maine.
