Congressional Republicans seem content to starve people as a bargaining chip for removing healthcare affordability for millions.

I'll be interested to see how the markets and (serious) analysts react to the (presumably) upcoming #Tesla robotaxi service launch in Austin.

Austin is a tough market to launch in, with 4 autonomous taxi services already in the market, and Waymo already in the Uber app.

I love how Elon spent the last year cultivating the base of the right, and is now impulsively imploding it by going up against Donald Trump 😂

Who's left with a positive brand image of Elon and Tesla? I guess (maybe) neocons?

The argument I wish I was hearing more from the Democrats:

These people, these public servants, swore an oath to faithfully uphold the laws of the United States.

The Department of Education's existence is a law. Its funding is a law.

What does this oath really mean right now?

No one had died of measles in America for ten years, until yesterday.

That 2015 death in WA was preceded by a 12y period of no US deaths. www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

Tesla / TSLA finally loses its trillion dollar market cap.

Still mystified though: who on earth is buying?

Who wakes up and thinks it to be wise to put $300 of their hard-earned cash into Tesla?

Democrats should be screaming "This is not how our government works."

The President cannot annex Gaza. The President cannot buy Greenland. The President doesn't decide if Canada becomes a state. The President doesn't assert ownership of the Panama Canal. The President can't end USAID.

Just fascinating how socially jarring this event TikTok event could be (and discussion of it hasn't yet hit my Reels)

I am embarrassed to admit that I am/was a "heavy" TikTok user. I've now given Reels a few hours shot, and the personal differences are just astounding.

JOURNALISTS FLOCK TO BLUESKY

“We have posts exactly the same on Twitter & on Bluesky & Bluesky is getting 20 times the engagement or more than Twitter. Seeing a social media platform that doesn’t throttle links really makes it clear how badly we were being limited”

Journalists flock to Bluesky as X becomes increasingly 'toxic'
Journalists are finding more readers and less hate on Bluesky than on the platform they used to know as Twitter.

A formative moment for me in reporting on Musk/Tesla was in 2019 when Tesla stopped OSHA from entering its Nevada factory and then blocked them again when they returned with a warrant and a sheriff’s deputy and then… nothing

And more than a dozen federal agencies are investigating his operations, suing his companies, issuing fines, or claiming that he's violating federal law
