I want to also create two physical copies of #Justanimals Issues 1 and 2 in one collected volume. One copy will be for me and the other will be for my local library among the "local authors" section.
I also plan to publish Issues 1 and 2 on hoopla.

If you need proof that pastiche-works get more original over time, at least in terms of what their creator makes, I think Undertale vs Deltarune is a perfect example.
Like, Undertale is fairly different from Earthbound, but Deltarune is even more so.

One still needs to consider not having license plates, copyrighted things and sometimes people in their shots, but, there's nothing stopping you from using your own photography for cover art, especially if you have an awesome camera!
