My wife has been working 7 days a week for the last month, and her app is just two days away from launch. Based on their trajectory they’re a few thousand downloads away from ranking in the top 10 of the entire App Store. Can you do what I promise will be an enjoyable favor and preorder the game?

I'm sorry, but if an Xcode Cloud build fails with "The test runner hung before establishing connection." -- in other words, it didn't even start running my code -- showing usage for that session of 64 minutes is complete bullshit.

Especially for a system that charges by usage time.

... but the Toolbar Item pill shape is still there. The `.sharedBackgroundVisibility(.hidden)` does remove it, but the padding still remains, and the view looks off. Super annoying.
Apple has rolled out Offer Codes for IAP's, something they announced at WWDC, and have had for subscriptions for a few years

This means no more global price changes to run sales - you can now run promotions targeted from specific sites, give you much better flexibility!

Oh good - more arbitrary bs that we need to deal with. I know they require the per-period cost to be shown, but I haven’t seen this one before
What the hell was the complaint? This looks like every paywall I’ve ever seen
Uh oh, here we go again...
The Codex agent is still not as easy to work with as Claude, but boy, the model can work through much more difficult issues. Find the tools that best solve the issues you have!
It would be a problem when viewing projections later in the week, though - this 100% would have been a real issue that would have gotten complaints, and would be incredibly difficult for me to find (and even believe)
So before merging, I ran `/review` from the Codex CLI - it called out the same issue. From here, I was able to talk through the issue, and came to realize that it _was_ real, but wouldn't effect the app in the way I most commonly use it - updating my account balances, and then viewing projections…
The Codex code review is impressive - through the web, it continued to call out an issue on a Bills to Budget PR that I couldn't replicate, and couldn't quite follow. None of my tests failed, and none of my manual testing exposed it.

Still, it was persistent enough that I wanted to dig further… 🧵
That is such a ridiculous commercial 🤦‍♂️
If you ask another Codex session to review the changes, I’ll bet it just says “LGTM”
I hope it finishes before the context fills!
Doing a feature audit of Bills to Budget, using Brainstorm/AI for structured note taking. Not yet perfect, but I love it anyway!
I'm rooting for the dolphins and jets to tie - what are the odds?

Reminder to turn off beta updates if you have a new phone pre-ordered and don't want to have to update the new phone to the beta before doing your migration
Bills to Budget's Liquid Glass update is here!

I'm planning for a 2.0 update later this year* - if there's something you've always needed, or wanted to be easier to manage, please reach out and let me know!

Mind Maps are an incredible way to inject context for AI sessions!

This gives Brainstorm/AI a super-power. I've now built a full 'knowledge base' for my apps - just open a brainstorm session, tell the AI to link the 'Bills to Budget Knowledge Base', and it's an instant expert. Incredibly powerful!
Mind Maps are available now!

Mind Maps were part of the original plan for Brainstorm/AI, but it felt like a daunting task. The work isn't done yet, but I'm super proud of this work, and excited to have it out!

And while building this over the summer, I discovered something completely unexpected...
Brainstorm/AI is ready for Liquid Glass, and it's bringing a huge new feature: Mind Maps!

Work with AI to visualize your ideas, reorganize your thoughts, and turn your loose sparks into real, actionable plans.
