Is anyone asking UK Labour how policies like the below are meant to work, when you can’t join up professional bodies using AI if there aren’t enough people to make professional judgments? Or is the goal to have a post office scandal, but for school absences?

Another sort of experimental crime book I read and liked a lot was Quinn by EM Strang. It’s a kind of forgiveness thriller (like a revenge thriller but based on a radical act of forgiveness) which builds from Strang’s own experiences supporting violent men in prison.

A lot of what I’ve been reading has been sort of experimental crime writing—it feels like a golden age for this at the moment, perhaps partly because of the great popularity of true crime podcasts.
