It's usually easier to break a system than it is to control it. And this is a clue to why so many "reform" proposals for government fail so badly.

Bell inequality (Nobel Prize 2022) is often seen as a bunch of impenetrable math. But really it's no more complicated than the idea it's difficult to agree a lot with Democrats and Republicans simultaneously.

When people make those hierarchies of subjects with math at the top and sociology on the bottom you can obtain the hierarchy of what kind of knowledge brings you most power by just turning that hierarchy on its head.

I read somewhere social networks are like clubs and when one gets lame/boring another sprouts up to take its place.

I also read about some networks having strong black-hole-like network effects that nothing can escape.

Here to get to the bottom of this.
