Let’s make an assumption.

The junta hired a lobbying firm to remove Kyaw Moe Tun as the #Myanmar UN permanent representative.

This report from @amnesty.org tells us that the Trump administration seems to care as much as Min Aung Hlaing about human rights.

This year’s report has been manipulated by the Trump administration to not accurately reflect the ongoing and grave violations of human rights, and that’s deeply troubling.

As we had time to kill, we listened to two recent episodes of @insightmyanmar.bsky.social - quite boring.

The host is not a journalist, I get it. But gosh, spending 40+ minutes with Turnell to get banalities, misleading and half-baked insights, and complacency—thanks but no thanks.

Looking forward to seeing @special-council.bsky.social and @justiceformyanmar.org reactions.

Reading the reactions to Trump’s letter to MAH is quite funny and pathetic.

Sean Turnell is leading the pack on this, as he did after the recent article published by @economist.com
