The people that always complain I don’t talk enough never seem to actually listen when I do speak

When an introvert goes cold, it usually means it is over. They are warm, patient people who forgive easily, but they still have limits. When they reach them, they do not argue or create drama. They pull away with no goodbye or explanation. Their distance shows they have given enough chances

Maybe you're not exhausted because you're "lazy." Maybe you're exhausted because your nervous system's been on high alert for years, without the option of slowing it down or turning it off.

Trauma symptoms are not "character" issues or "personality" traits.

I’m an introvert.

It’s not that I don’t like people, I just value peace. I recharge in quiet, not crowds. I speak when it matters. I’m observant, not distant. I crave real connection, not constant attention. If I choose your company, it means everything.

Introverts are really nice until you break their trust. Then they’ll cut you off and disappear without a word. Don’t mistake their kindness for weakness

If you’re driving around in unmarked cars, wearing masks, and kidnapping people, you’re not one of the good guys.

Highly sensitive can also be linked to highly intuitive and let me tell you there’s a reason people don’t like that. Sensitivity is often criticized, but it’s the intuitive part that scares people who have stuff to hide.
