Basically here for Star Trek
14. #notevember Rock

Playing Roy Orbison's "Oobie Doobie" was an essential part of Cochrane's warp flight.

What's your unpopular star trek opinion?

I resented Worf's arrival at DS9.
What's your unpopular star trek opinion?

While I love the episode for a number of reasons The Enterprise Incident’s plot makes no sense.
What's your unpopular star trek opinion?

Prodigy is not canon within the Star Trek universe. It's a holonovel created to drum up interest in Starfleet among young prodigies.

13. #notevember Fave VOY track "Nemesis"

There's a lot of silence in this episode, but the moment that Chakotay breaks and attacks what he believes is the Kradin commandant, the music is fast and furious.

10. #notevember Vocal

The Doctor enjoyed singing opera, as he did in this holodeck simulation with a 22nd century soprano.

9, #notevember Fave DS9 track "Starship Down"

Music evokes a sense of danger in this episode. The music starts out quiet, then gets louder when the Defiant is struck.

8. #notevember Diagetic Alien music

After electing to live on board the Defiant, Worf often listened to Klingon opera when he was alone on the bridge.

7. #notevember Concert

Mariner and Boimler attended (and loved) the Zebulon Sisters concert, the Zebulun Sisters being famous for the Chu-Chu dance.

For anyone who's read the #Startrek novels (the old novelverse). My theory is that whoever succeeded UFP President Bacco was like Trump in the sense that he just bulldozed over Bacco's progressive policies.

I'm reading Star Trek: Prometheus and it has a Andorian succeeding Bacco as UFP President.

I've seen a chart here that has a Tellarite named Blasch Trun. I like the idea of a Tellarite, but curious. Where does he come from since i can't find any info on Memory Beta?

We hear a low, unsettling music throughout this episode as a brainwashed Geordie carries out commands.

Another #startrek log. Part of my inspiration for creating these logs was to talk about places like Sigma Draconis VI.

1. #notevember Fave TOS Track "Bread and Circuses"

I'm going to improvise since I don't have favorite tracks. But this ep has this beautiful moment--a lone violin when McCoy is talking to Spock about slipping and "letting his human half let out..."

I had a certain DS9 episode in mind for one of the upcoming #notevember prompts but now I'm thinking of going to go for a more claustrophobic ep.. I have a feeling that might provide an interesting musical vibe. (we'll see when I rewatch tonight)
