Decided to try something weird! I discovered that canned shrimp is a thing. So making shrimp sammies today for my lunch, it won't be a thing I do regularly but I <3 shrimp and thought it'd be something I could do for a change. I'll get pics of my lunch if people are curious.

When it rains it pours. People who have known me a long time know about this but..My doctor found stage 1 kidney cancer on me by accident. Gonna have surgery for it the first week in June. Please pray for me if you're so inclined; if you're not I won't yell about any f-u cancer!

Well, finaly added this to my Discord and kicked X/Twitter to the curb. Yes it's still open but I no likely Musk at all. Also trying to beat Shining Pearl; looks like I have to quick train more pokes. UGH.

Even worse! Liquidator (thank goodness it wasn't nasty Gordon Brothers) got Joann's. Worst case scenario; at least with yarn and needles, I know where to go. Not just Hobby Lobby and Micheal's. Cloth..that's tougher. I hope the cosplayers in the area are not in trouble b/c of this. Goodbye Joann.

/sigh. Douglasville is losing our Joann's; that's going to be a mess with me learning how to sew. I hope I can find alternate stores or places to get cloth or yarn; I'm having better luck finding local yarn stores in the Atlanta Area than cloth stores! Ugh!

I'm chicken today since snow's been forecast, so staying home. I'm a new enough driver that I REALLY don't want to risk driving in it.

It's been a mess here in GA lately but me and my brother are safe at the house. Not sure if we're going to be GOING to church or not since well, the roads are proly still awful slick. Doggone snow/ice storm.

New year is coming, trying to figure out my new year's resolution for 2025. This year it was learn2drive and get my driver's license; that one was a DONE! Now for 2025..not sure yet, but I mean to set a new year's goal I CAN do.

Well, we're getting ready to make this house look like Christmas. Got the smart plug plugged in so we can put the tree on it, gonna go get the tree, let's go. And I'll be making some Christmas cookies for the nieces, and I got some candy for us.

It's a cold day today here in GA, Infinite Games in Villa Rica is reopening, and I'll prolly go there soon to pick up stuff for my brothers. (Gonna go by one of his online handles here) Shadowneko especially likes classic games. ^^

There. I'll get a pic in a bit if people are curious but I got our dinner in the crock pot; beef and veggie soup. It's cold here in GA so yeah. Debating on if to do biscuits or whole wheat rolls :)

Went to the cemetery today; meant to do it yesterday b/c both my dad and my grandpa on my Dad's side were vets. Brought flowers, and the director was really nice and gave me flags for their graves too. Honor to any vets around here.

Just was on a walk at our local mall b/c it's a really really nasty day. Looks like we just got a MiniSo! Cute store. (Didn't buy anything but I don't on Sunday unless it's a emergency.) I'm still hoping SOMETHING like a Costco comes to our mall; Sam's needs a little competition after all.

Anyway to get off politics and lady-worry; I recently just beat FF1 Pixel Remastered. First time I ever beat FF1..Playing DQ VII on my new Mickey CRT (PS2) and FFXIV (PS4 right now) and Final Fantasy VI. I also need to drop that for a bit! Need to work on presents for my nieces and nephew.
