Nowadays, I think some people just need to have more obvious exposure to be satisfied with whatever story they're interacting with.

As a New Yorker, Mamdani is the best thing that has ever happened in my lifetime. Only because he is a relatively normal guy going against people who just have no real substance to stand on anymore. And there's Curtis Sliwa, who's somehow the only other serious candidate anyone should consider.
