I sent this to my evangelical family group text. I didn't expect a response, nor did I get one. I know they must have seen it. It sucks being the only one to see the truth.

I made one of my favorite comfort foods tonight: Portuguese Kale Soup, with ground pork sausage, chickpeas, red-skinned potatoes, diced tomatoes, homemade chicken stock, and of course, kale, bay leaf, salt and plenty of black pepper. I love how simple, yet satisfying this soup is.

There was a beautiful sunset tonight, as we enter into an authoritarian hell. I am still not going to give up.
