I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my friend, state Sen. Ed Kennedy (D-Lowell). We shared 50 years of friendship, politics, and public service, starting in 1977. Ed served Lowell with honor and always did what was right. I’ll miss our talks. My condolences to his family.

As part of Lowell’s Pride Celebrations, I had the honor of attending the 2nd annual brunch fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ Fund. Led by UMass Lowell Chancellor Julie Chen & her spouse, Susu Wong, the Fund reflects their powerful commitment to equity, inclusion, and lasting impact in our community. (1/3)
